first i'd like to personally thank autumn for
rejuvenating the initial subject of this
thread. while i do not suspect a great deal
of posts... i thought i'd take the time to
thoroughly talk about something...
for anyone that doesn't ALREADY know, my
mother was a HUGE bon jovi fan... hmmmm...
scratch that... she was a sambora fan...
bon jovi (as a group) was merely a bonus.
my mother was, shall we say, a fanatic.
this wasn't a recent endeavour... oh fuck no...
she was through and through for as long as
i can remember...
ok, enough background... on with the good stuff...
richie sambora is so fucking awesome....
perhaps its my background bias and the
countless days my sister and i had to endure
ALL the jovi albums blaring in the house
whenever possible... but lets face it,
he is just yum.
here... take a look at him (with big boy huckabee no doubt)
UNGH!!!! HE'S FUCKING HOT!!
(and part of me feels weird for saying that...)
anyways... about the time i was a fledgeling
and left the nest, sambora had his first
debut solo album. on a whole, it was ok...
but there were a few kick ass songs on there.

now... i think what i REAAALLY like best
about him is his voice. i really dig it.
always have. i think its the main reason
i'd prefer to do the harmonies in so many
jovi tunes... (and also because the harmony
always seems to kick ass, imo).
anyways... i've uploaded a sambora tune to
CP for those interested (and capable of
DLing it). it is from his original album...
so its rather old... but still worth the DL
to the youngins here.
i think this is prolly the best song on the
album... and i've been listening to it
recently (along with a few others)... and
gosh, its just so great.
just fucking yummmy.... LOVE his voice

i want to redirect everyone's attention
to fucking huckabee in the first pic (he's
the big dork on the left).

Huckabee has lost a tremendous amount of weight....seeing him on TV it is always startling because he is so thin now...but after seeing these pictures and how big he used to be....i dunno, it's just odd.
he looks much older now that he's thinner.

it's the governor of arkansas. he used to be the doughboy as can seen above, however he has lost a considerable amount of weight (over 100 pounds) via the atkins diet.

i think he dated cher back in her mackie stage..
all those wild headdresses n' shit... and i seem
to remember 'them' going to some music awards
thingy and he was dressed pretty much like he
always is (black and white, tailored) and she
was just in the wildest outfits. totally not a
good pairing.
